sambo Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 whats worth the most a twincam replica with twincam engine or a cossy powerd mk1? How longs a piece of string!! Depends on the spec of everything else!
GJUK Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 twincam would have thought if they're running everything else the same.
mk1cossydan Posted May 24, 2010 Author Report Posted May 24, 2010 Its a hard one as theres qwite a few cossys out there now in mk1s and not realy alot of twincams about
Pipster007 Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 I would imagine a cossy to be more reliable and cheaper in the long run. A BDA would be a bit a bit more fragile and costlier in the long run. But as mentioned, a cossy is quite commonplace now, so a twink would certainly be more desireable. At the end of the day, it may come down to how deep your pockets are and if you want to drive the car "daily" or just for a few shows every year What would you plan to do with it??????

BDA is bullet proof next to the twink, bda is a crossflow with a 16v head on top,and a good crossflow is pretty tough
PIG Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 twin cams aint worth shit unless they are a proper genuine mk1 escort twincam imo.and there fooking gutless
LEONMEX Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 twin cams aint worth shit unless they are a proper genuine mk1 escort twincam imo.and there fooking gutless that told him. My mk1 cossie has cost me more than a genuine twincam but it will get driven unlike most twincams. Hard to say on the price front though i would guess at a concours twincam & a well built cossie would be about the same
