Andrade Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 I am highly undecided what to paint the estate in. So far i have decided on a shade of green. but i have no clue whether to go original, british racing green, metallic, etc thing is since anglias are quite narrow cars i dont think dark colors suite them that much. i was opting for something like the below, what do you think?
Pipster007 Posted May 25, 2010 Report Posted May 25, 2010 I don't know what shade of green it was (possibly a Peugeot shade), but my old Escort looked OK in a metallic green

Andrade Posted May 25, 2010 Author Report Posted May 25, 2010 I think i found it, tuscany green Cheers!
Pipster007 Posted May 25, 2010 Report Posted May 25, 2010 I never found out what shade it was exactly, but Tuscany Green seems to be a winner. Try photoshopping an Anglia in it and see how it looks

PaulMags Posted May 25, 2010 Report Posted May 25, 2010 If its a ford colour it will probably be Paciffic green or another option is juice green thats a little darker but richer in colour.
V6MAT Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 how about the green on my fiesta, metallic but its a mk5.. i think it would look great on an OSF

OllieC Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 Period colour (ish), Highland green Would look good on an anglebox i fancy ? Modern metallic colours like the peugeot tuscan green do look good, but I personally prefer a flat colour for older cars.. just my opinion
D-FENS Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 The mk2 cortina 1600E colour Aquatic Jade is similar to some of the greens that you like so far .Have a look later for a photo of one and scan it for you .
