Not usually mate. I had problems with mine when i was turbo'ing it.

 

Apparently, the best route to go down (other than chassis mounting) is to use the R.A.C.E X-member and cut the lip back etc.

 

The other x-members just wont give the clearance.

 

R.A.C.E advertise in classic ford but dont have a website.
