is it to convert an RS2000 nose to a flat front,i think im right in saying i will need new wings,front pannel and bonnet,and a grill of course,just wondering how much work is involved,how difficult is it :?: anyone know where i can get reasonably priced pannels :?:

 

 

 

 

 

And before i get all the ''dont do it'' :lol: im just testing the water right now,if i dont flatfront mine i will just end up selling it to buy one and i would rather stick with what i know :wink:

Well, a mate of mine did it a few years back who i'll call tomorrow to get more details for you. Although parts wise your right.

 

What i will say though, is that it was a hell of a lot more work than he anticipated. :shock:

first of all dont flat front an early RS2000, swap shells with mine its already flat front.

 

ne ways to convert u need wings and bonnet,front panel is the same,grill lights and bumpers

Was that the job in general or did he find hidden horrors :(

Hidden horrors, but thats mainly down to the fact that his car had a major spank at some point. Basically nothing came off easily and it took him a month of weekends to line the new stuff back up. :shock:

With Tim the front panel is the same

Blimey didnt notice that bit until you high lighted it :lol: thats great :D if all went well thats got to be a dead easy job :wink: the pain in the arse will be getting the pattern wings on nice :lol:
