fezza Posted January 9, 2007 Report Posted January 9, 2007 is it to convert an RS2000 nose to a flat front,i think im right in saying i will need new wings, front pannel and bonnet, and a grill of course, just wondering how much work is involved, how difficult is it anyone know where i can get reasonably priced pannels And before i get all the ''dont do it'' im just testing the water right now,if i dont flatfront mine i will just end up selling it to buy one and i would rather stick with what i know
RFChris Posted January 9, 2007 Report Posted January 9, 2007 Well, a mate of mine did it a few years back who i'll call tomorrow to get more details for you. Although parts wise your right. What i will say though, is that it was a hell of a lot more work than he anticipated. Chris

RFChris Posted January 9, 2007 Report Posted January 9, 2007 Hidden horrors, but thats mainly down to the fact that his car had a major spank at some point. Basically nothing came off easily and it took him a month of weekends to line the new stuff back up. Chris
fezza Posted January 9, 2007 Author Report Posted January 9, 2007 Did he use pattern parts always a bugger to line up good but worth the effort in the end
RFChris Posted January 9, 2007 Report Posted January 9, 2007 Nope, this was back when you could still find MKII's in the scrappers. All used panels. Chris
