Got my sport set up on the rollers today

145 BHP at 6000 rpm wahoooo!

I'mWell impressed with that!! Only got 119bhp last year. it was running far too rich and timeing needed adjusting

plus fitted new coil Leeds and plugs

feels like it goes like a King rocket compared too before

well happy with it!

I didn't want to take it home!

Il post a video later if I can upload it

I got 119 bhp from track n road last year

I didn't enjoy it their either bloke wasNt very friendly

also turns out they didn't know wat they wer doing coz my carbs wer jetted wrong.

I went to peter Baldwin

He was wiked and great bloke

soo bloody clever i'd recomend him to everyone!!!

His machines are 1980 technology so no printout I'm affraid

u can only see it on the screen.

The best thing about him too is he has all the spares like if he didn't have those jets I would have had a wasted journey..

My engine is a caterham super 7 xflow

it's got alot of headwork done to it the valves are almost toching

roller rockershaft and double valve springs

double timeing chain

pipercross bp285 cam

dellorto twin 40s

fiesta electric ignition

janspeed exhaust and system

peter says the thing holding it back now is my cam if I want more power that's wer I need to go next because that's the max he can get out of it.

Tbh I thought 285 was a good cam but he recons it's quite mild?

Thats good power m8, you must be very happy with that

It would be interesting to see how much power it makes now at Track & Road..

yer cheers steve I'm still shocked  lol

I don't think il bother changeing the cam I'm more than happy with what I've got for now it just pulls real hard through the revs, goes like shit off a stick!!!!

It's a shame my phone won't let me upload videos to photobucket I could post a vid up !

Had the same experience at Track N Road, mine made 151 with a missfire at the top end, but they wanted to close up early so it wasnt looked in to and i was left with it as it was  that was 1000 miles after its build.

My engine builder said to go Peter Baldwin as he is the man for setting up carbs, also good if his got the jets for dellorto's that suit me as i have twin 40's as well.

not too worried about BHP as i know its a proven 150+ at track n road, just want a nice running engine!
