Admin Mk2Jo Posted June 30, 2010 Admin Report Posted June 30, 2010 Just want to say a VERY BIG THANK YOU to Derek (do one del) who came out to the Farnham Meet for a nice quiet drink and a bit of banter with his mates and ended up underneath my car with petro and oil running down his arms Seems I had a split in the petrol pipe and petrol was pi$$ing out right next to the red hot exhaust pipe Thanks also to Chris cokebottle who very kindly allowed us to position the car up on the ramps of his truck and who butchered the Pug he had on the back so that it could donate a small piece of fuel pipe Thanks also to Darren (Posse) for getting his hands dirty and helping Del .... you are all little diamonds Feckin Old Fords
bomber1 Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 it wasnt only you jo with old ford issues my escort wouldnt start so i big thanks to the guys that pushed the fairy up and down the car park trying to bump it. thanks to the capri owners who stayed with my other half while we shot off to get a tow rope. ended up with the AA coming out resetting the timing then tow starting it. got home about 1.30 this morning so to all those that help im truley gratefull thanks
