hi guys,

im in need of getting my roof on my escort to bare metal as the last owner has painted it with something i cant sand down very well. what is the best/quickest way to get it to bare metal and what paint do i need to spray on bare metal?

Get some paint stripper from halefords (nitro mores) that will take it straight of and for bare metal get some (etch primer) they do that in halefords to good luck mate

iirc i paid about £12 form the local motorfactors.. and that was for 250ml...

cheeRS guys, i bought some nitro mors stuff so guess what i will be doing tomorrow lol. how long can i leave roof bare metal before i can spray? ( i try get paint 1st though

Also available from Halfords. used just one to strip my roof to bare metal and took about an hour or so.

I tried nitromors and it is the evilest of stinking toxic stuff. Doesn't do that good of a job either in my opinion.
