....and start something new, a v8 Granny or a twin engined Fiesta? Maybe get rid of the little xflow and put something much more powerful in? Then I take mine out for a drive and all those ideas get drowned out by the glorious xflow breathing through weber 45's

 

Remember that old VW Golf night driving ad? I watched it at 10:30pm:

 

then Texted a friend who has a quick 2litre Focus and on the spur of the moment we met up at a petrol station 20mins later:

 

Roundabouts and OSF never cease to amuse

 

and proceeded to have a superb 50 mile blast around country B-roads at a good (safe) pace.

On the night the Mk2 was despite having 20bhp less and the Focus having an ATB, but they are a great match. Not much between them, just goes to show you don't need mega power to have mega fun.
