It was all on borrowed time mate, when i did the shows in 2009 it was nearly over for him due to some worker seeing stuff in his house and going to the press etc.

 

There was a big meeting and they were seriously considering pulling the plug then.

According to the daily mail (ok, not the most reliable source) his contract has now been cancelled due to it being impossible to work with him. Either way, I can't see that anyone cares what he's got to say. All my mates who are top gear fans think he has ruined the mystery of the stig.

If your thinking of the same person i am, he did a scene in one of the James Bond films that Ben was suppoese to do but gave up after quite a few attempts, apparently he got in to show him how to do it, they filmed it and it that's the shot that was used.

 

Think it was where the helicopter was chasing him into a tunnel and the car goes sideways, he tried to tell me how to drift and offered to meet me at a track if i supplied a car !!!!

I heard the rumor from down the road from me, who it seems, have gone bankraupt in the last week or so, i guess i wont' get the money i'm owed, as i thought would happen.

 

 

I think they were going to be doing some work on it for him, if your mate is in contact i'd strongly advise him to tell Neil to stay away, some of the cars have already been allocated elsewhere so i'm told even though they have a new company name etc.

 

The one used in the new Clarkson Dvd is said to be in the showroom of the owner of the building they lease as the rent was not paid for some time !!
