Whilst i understand what your saying and yes i do think it was a bit harsh whereas a warning would have been fair, you cant escuse stopping on the zigzags leading up to a crossing, if a young kid had been run over because a driver didnt see them cos you blocked his vision how would you have felt then?. Surely (and i dont obviously know the full story) the zigzags only run for about 10 or 20 yards you could have pulled up a bit further down the road where you would have been off the zigzags and not obstruct the crossing.

I expect a fair bit of slag about this but thats my opinion but like i said i think a warning would have been fair

Your right, you dont know the full story but thats not your fault so dont take that as a dig.

There are alot of underlyng circumstances as to why i was parked in such a position and i proved beyond reasonable doubt that the offence was not intentional hence leniency from the court.

I was never stopped on the crossing itself and as proved in court, was not impeading the vision of the crossing to other drivers.

My company were to blame for the inaccurate training given but it was classed as an absolute offence and punishment must be imposed.

Im not a bad driver and dont park in these places in my own car,i was just operating a vehicle which at the time i had been trained as exempt from certain parking restrictions.

Hope this helps you understand the situation slightly better
