Bit of a long shot on this one!

 

Is there any way of tightening up the Tacho on a set of Mk2 Clocks?

 

Ours is bouncing about all over the place like a Citroen AX, with the new lump in it i didn't want to rev it to hard...... yet.....

 

Is there an adjuster?

On a cortina one there is a little screw down the backlight bulb hole but not to sure about escort, was told to only turn it a fraction at a time i try it each time.

My last MK2 was like that, I replaced the electronics (The rear part) with a MK3 E$cort one, very little modding required.
