Hi everyone ive decided to build up my spare cosworth engine but i was going to use and earlie pinto block with out 205 on the side could i steel use it? also could i use it with flat pistons?

 

any help will be really greatfull

You may be able to run stage one on that block, walls thickness are the same I think as 2wd 205??

 

Flat pistons will give too high compression for Turbo use, Naturally aspirtated sway towards flat and convex pistons if head combustion chamber allows.

thanks for that mate wont be starting it just yet as ive just picked my twincam engine up lol soo cossy's bin pushed to a side for now
