did my 711 throw all its oil out of the dipstick and engine breather. its been fine up till now, i took it for a rag this morning and oil everywhere.

my zetec did that when it was over-filled.

was fine for normal driving for weeks on end.

got to mallory park, and it half filled the catch tank and clogged up the breather pipe lol

i checked the oil before i went out and it was a smidge low if anything, its wierd as it happened suddenly and its had some abuse recently and been fine.

Mine was doing that mate and turnt out to be the rings but check the PCV valve first which goes into the (coffin box) breather system make sure its not blocked or stuck also clean out the coffin box and then try it mate

i reckon you could be right about the breather, been doing some research and it looks like thats all it can be.
