Henry Ford II's Mk2 Escort RS2000 (information wanted!)...

A good few years ago 'Classic Ford' featured a very special Mk2 Escort RS2000... It was specially built by Ford for the top dog himself, Henry Ford II for use when visiting England... It was unique as it was an automatic, was finished in Roman Bronze (not available on the RS2000) and had a gorgeous cream leather interior... The magazine I had with the article has long gone so have any of you good people got any pictures/information you'd care to share with me...?! Thanks in advance

Nice one folks... With the exception of the Diamond White RS2000 used in The Professionals that is my favourite Ford Escort...!!! That colour looks ace on it, shame you couldn't opt for that on a standard RS2000 back in the day... Those snaps are amazing but if anybody has anymore please don't be shy...

Yeah it suits the car well, no RS's were available with metallic paint in the MKII range. Click here to see the car briefly on Top Gear
