I was in this situation a few months back... I Ordered some 10mm aluminium flange from ebay and 38mm ID piping, got the hack saw and file going and had it welded locally all in about £60 and the ZX9R carbs, had 180 jets in them and dyno needles too, were £65 incl delivery, fluro lined fuel resistant hose £25-30...

150ish quid for my set up, the filters werean extra £20 quid from china
