ZetecVan 2.0 Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 Happy Birthday Jon! Most of you probably don't know him, as he's shy and doesn't post much (or rather computer illiterate but I won't hold that against him) but you might have seen his car at various shows. [gratuitous plug] Jon runs King Street Motors in Birkenshaw, so if you're in the Leeds/Bradford area and want an OSF friendly garage, give him a call. He's an OSF nerd and won the Classic Ford Show pub quiz a few years back. On his own. Here's his Escort. Jon looks after Bob Beans Cortina and Escort (well not so much since the roll) This weekend, it's the Roger Albert Clark Rally, and he's off up there with his pit crew. One of them is Mark Boulton, who owns an ex German Mk1 Tranny which you may have seen on the OSF stand the last couple of years. He's had it signwritten, and done out as the rally barge. Mark also owns this Mk2 he's rebuilding (and the Talbot in the background with Mark) And this Mk2 Lotus Cortina And this is his new toy. I've yet to go out in it as he broke the engine a few days after getting it...! So Good Luck to Bob and his cracked support team!
