right this is doing my nut in!!!!

Basically i get wheel wobble (not vibrations) wobble from left to right in the steering wheel, between about 45 and 50mph, especially noticeable when slowing down or sitting at a steady 45-50mph.

So, ive changed the wheels... nope, changed the hubs... nope, changed the disks+pads, nope! shock absorbers are fine, springs are in the cups fine and secure too!

What could be causing it!!! its doing my head in now!

Im running the caprisport gt280 283mm sierra cosworth disc+mondao caliper combo on machined hubs, which are new hubs which we got machined to try solve the wobble!

its still there!!!

GRRR!!

what else can it be, surley its gotta be something rotating thats causing it cause it comes and goes at that certain speed

help plzzz, also the bearings are new with the hubs :)

which ones lol, they are all poly bushes, whats the best way to check them?

Jack handle between the car and the arb and lever it away from the car check for movement in the bushes?

What about the outer tca bushes? whats the best way to check them for play?

wobbly check for play in the outer tca although they are fairly new yours will get more of a hiding as you do alot of track time and yours work hard (ive seen your vids mate) push the front wheel back with your foot and check for movement next grab the tca and check the inner bush for up and down movement whilst the motor is up check the wheel bearings in the usual way put a strong piece of wood or metal bar under the wheel get someone to lift the wheel whilst you hold the balljoint and check for any excess play in that area another thing to check whilst you can get to it is the track rod end again any excess play look at your `D` bushes for any wear in them also and its over looked at times wheel ballance and tyre wear an out of shape tyre can cause some strange effects

have the motor raised so wheels are off the ground ( support the motor of course) then have someone with a long bar or piece of wood lift the wheel up an down (from under the wheel) and with your hand on the ball joint, feel for any knocks or free play in it
