My friends are racing their GP4 (Warrior) Escort there - it's silver with an orange stripe. He tells me there's all sorts entered - 6R4's etc. Should be worth a visit - free entry for spectators. I didn't see any 6R4's though The davrian's (Darrians?) looked unstopable - so fast not only in a straight line but round the bends too - tough competition for the escorts. I think they were running in 1st and 2nd when I chickened the cold and went home..... My mates in their escort did well - they came first of the historic escorts - not that there was a class for that , but they were 4th in their class and 7th over all. They were very pleased. Graham Sansom (Son of Peter from Sanspeed) was competing too in a blue Mk2 Pinto powered I think. Didn't finish though - not sure why.... Worth the trip but Freeeeeeezing!
