jamie Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 If a wheel is GP4 spec, and needs conversion nuts to fit to standard studs, is there any way you can convert the wheels to run on standard studs without the conversion nuts? Can the wheels be machined or modified in anyway? Or could any machining render the wheel unusable? Thanks!
you'll get 10s on that Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 Quite a bit of machining which will surely outweigh the cost of the conversion wheelnuts.....what is the issue with using the converting wheelnuts??
livewire7116 Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 usually they are only inserts, why done you contact people who made them and see if they can supply std inserts, then simply knock them out and new ones in
