Just looking to find advantages and disadvantages of Decambering springs over then the obvious lowering the car

Advantage - no blocks

Advantage - look cleaner

Advantage - they can test them if they're 2nd hand at the same time

disadvantage - once its done its hard to adjust again as you'd have to take 'em back to make them 'lower' or 'higher'.

Cost me £80 for a pair to have them done in the midlands.

easy to do it yourself too, did mine with a 12 ton pipe bender, simply work along the length bending them past thier elastic limit, keep going evenly untill you have the desired drop, worth drawing round the profile 1st too to measure the change, youd be surprised how far they need bending. whatever you do, do NOT heat them up, will try and dig out some photos of doing mine.
