granny V8 Posted February 13, 2011 Report Posted February 13, 2011 Finally had all the welding done on my granny, let me know what you think of how good the welding is, we used 1.2mm (15 gauge) steel plate and a mig welder, all double skined from the top and bottom and now all undersealed. Should last a good few years now
granny V8 Posted February 13, 2011 Author Report Posted February 13, 2011 yeah, hopefully should last twice as long, the most suprising thing about all the welding that needed doing was that it was the only bit on the whole car that needed doing, the rest of the car was sound as a pound!!
