so i had to book my car in and get the exhaust chopped about. which i am happy about as now i can drive it  and have been most of the day and what a day to be blasting about in. got loads of stares off people everywhere.:ykt::thumbsup:

cheers chaps

all i know about it being on a r plate is on the v5 it's an escort 1300e

and at the bottom of the v5 special notes section it says rebuilt-assembled from parts some or all of which were not new.

next jobs are to fit my strut brace and remove the chrome strips around the windows and fit my peep mirrors.

Not unless as a mk1 it was one of the last ones built, and didnt get registered until 76 (may have been on a dealers forecourt or bought and just garaged, not registered):thumbsup:
