I live in stevenage and its only a 2 min drive to the pub My capri is not exactly a show winner or anything But I wouldnt mind coming along to meet you lot and see all the OSF motors fill the carpark up lol your more than welcome!!!!! its great to see some fresh new faces!!!!! just a little question, did you once get a napkin stuck under your windscreen with details of the meet on it!?

X-pack-Glyn Posted February 17, 2007 Report Posted February 17, 2007 My capri is not exactly a show winner or anything Mate your missing the point there, most of the OSF scene isnt about show winning cars, some are and fair play to them. we have this problem with milton keynes show, people think theres gona be a field full of show winners and they will just have an average aged car, its simply not the case (we even have trophys for the worst looking cars), many cars at the stevenage meet are daily drivers and many of my fave OSF cars are running the rat look with sorted angines etc, so dont get all hung up about it... my capri cost me £20 last year, but the engine and running gears cost over £3k so far, and i have no intention of touching the bodywork unless its needed for mot/road worthy.
