How many Headlining Clips will I need

Hi all,

 

When fitting a new headlining kit to a MK1 Escort,

 

How many of these clips do you actually need?

The description on that item when looking on the bay says 4 along the front and 4 along the rear but another item number 200604444503 (just ended but re-contactable) sell's a pack of 20...

 

 

Ideally if you could find an old ford parts diagram of the headlining showing the clips you could then replicate as per ford i guess however as the clips are usually out of view when fitted in the car who's to know how many as long as it's all secure where you need it to be so fit anywhere between 8 and 20 or find an alternative that does the job instead and that your happy with.

 

 

When i fitted my headlining i can't remember how many clips or what i used as it's been so long ago now but fitting it in a warm building helped i think and you might want to fit some sound deadening, just a thought

I've seen both of those adverts and got them on my watch list

 

Saw the pack of 20 and that prompted me to ask as the car is in bits at the body shop at present
