Yeomans22 Posted May 23, 2011 Report Posted May 23, 2011 i think it went very well, only thing that i can think of is if more cars sign up next year after seeing this years pics, we were already struggling for space this year, thats if we go back up the dam next time. great day though and looking forward for next year. thanks again for organising it. Paul.

SebringRS Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 Same as above, great day out, if anything better than last years Good turnout of a mix of OSF'......although yellow mk2's did seem to been in larger numbers And yeah, roll on next year
aled Posted May 25, 2011 Report Posted May 25, 2011 It was a rare opportunity this year to go up there, so to get there again next year may be hit and miss. It was a tight squeeze, but there was a little fork off to the left at the top which would take another 20 cars or so if required should we ever be allowed access there again. A point to note for myself would be timings. I tried to keep them accurate, but it's very very difficult. All went great on the way there as I planned things consciously so that the drivers from the Midlands would not be home too late. As it happened, following the drive up the dam, quite a lot then made their way home separately which wasn't a problem but because of that, the rest of us decided we then decided not to return to the Ponderosa Cafe. I'm not sure what time the furthest drivers set out at to meet at Telford and leave there by 10am, but next time would it be possible to meet at the Ponderosa by say 10.30 am ? That would give us a little extra time Anyway, hope you all had a great time, and thanks for attending. It made for a great day As it had to be a charity event in order to get access, my thanks also go out to those who contributed to the £256.41 total towards Hope House childrens Hospice
SebringRS Posted May 25, 2011 Report Posted May 25, 2011 We left Birmingham at about 8:15, we were at Telford by 9 i think So could be possible
