I see things have changed around here? Had to re register and it's taken me a long time to get round to posting instead of just reading and getting a feel for the place.

 

 

I'm Dave... 34, live on the south coast in Hampshire, and have had my share of the old fords over the years, Mk2 scorts, Mk1 XR2's, XR3's, RS turbo's, cossies.... keep hankering for another mk2 scort though so often pop in here and have a look around at what's up for grabs, just incase a 'too good to miss' one pops up

 

Like a fair few of you, I also follow the oval racing (competed at grasstrack level doing bangers and then racing) and attend the spedeworth events quite a bit due to work interests (work with a well known engine builder in that area and we like to be on hand to help out customers when we can be) Will keep the name of the builder quiet for now, I'm here for personal reasons and interests, not business hunting! It does mean I can help you lot out with answers if wanted though, happy to help out where I can, I get plenty of enjoyment from reading through the project threads and seeing cars I grew up around and owning / enjoying still being revived, cherished and enjoyed. Seems only fair I give a little back in return where possible
