MK1 cortina always wanted one from when i was a kid looking at my dads old ones when he was my age so i had to have one. I am car crazy i have a few including a nissan 200sx s14a newly finished project for drift fun which has also left me with a couple of spare engines sr20det for the cortina. Thought id stop by and say hello plus im sure im going to need some help along the way with the SR20 conversion but thats a long way off yet gotta get body stripped down and welded up. Looks like a good site to be with though cheers Dan

Dan200bmx Posted August 4, 2011 Author Report Posted August 4, 2011 cheers for the warm welcome yeah i have to admit im am a big rice burner fan(but mainly RWD) but old fords do share a space with the jap so why not build a jap powered cortina.. simples got a lot of body work to do first though before i get too excited about the engine and then sort what crossmember, rack, legs etc to run (its all so new to me) so its more modern feeling but still old skool cool looking hope to have it done by summer next year ish. here are a couple of piccys of the old girl
