Hi Everyone,

I am hoping someone can help. My lovely Anglia has been taken from the rented garage where it lived in Wokingham, Berks. It was probably taken within the last couple of months but I can't be sure ... it's MOT is due next month so I thought I should get it ready but yesterday morning, I found the garage was empty.

The details are ...

1966 Ford Anglia in beige with white roof, red interior

Regn OJH 480D

Chassis no. BB22FY20641

Approx mileage 37,000

I have reported this to the Police. If anybody has any information that might help me find this lovely car, I would be very grateful. It was my first car, I learnt to drive in it and it means more to me than I can say.

Thank you, in advance, for any help.

Sandra

Hi Everyone,

Thanks Steve for putting this up on the OldSkoolFord site. I have posted it in umpteen other places but no luck yet (trying not to lose hope). Someone must know something. I have had this car for over 25 years and am desperate to get it back.

If you hear or see anything or have any good ideas then please call me on 07905 219051 or PM me if you prefer or, if you would rather remain anonymous, you can speak to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Regards,

Sandra

very sad news about this car sandra it just keeps happening to our cars!

everyone needs to check their lock ups regularly + beef up the garage locks too :( also dont let anyone follow you to your garage when you put the car away if possible just drive past your storage place/garage/driveway + try to lose anyone behind you.

I do this when I go to my lock up. Where I park my car is in a quiet cul de sac so if I have anyone behind me when i return I drive right past the entrance and do a few laps of the nearby area. Can't be too careful!

Hope you find your car Sandra, if it helps to keep you optimistic, I had a mk2 stolen back in the 90's, and it turned up abandonded on a housing estate 5 miles away 2 years later.
