should i should i not break this up

brought a mk5 tina the other week of jiffer a 2.3 one brought it to break then was going to do it up but the clutch as gone in it so might just break if their was anouth intresst in it,

 

only brought it for the carb and manerfold but sods law ive fixed the car i was going to use it on,

 

what do you rekion break or not to break,

 

needs a cluch have one in the shed,small patch of welding,back box,and the breaks doing,

 

the car it self as little rust and interiour is mint what is it worth with a test on it its also a 5 speed and runs sweet,

 

how ever i do need a starter motor for my other car,

im a great believer in saving them, people spend money saving cars way worse than this. looks like a cheap fix and stick it on ebay

I thought the 2.3 ones were quite rare when they when they came out ?

 

Although not much is selling at the moment seems a shame to break a car that dont need much work doing.

If you only want a starter motor you should be able to get one easily enough, they are usually available brand new.

 

Its a real shame to break it and you'll probably lose money as yeah you'll sell afew parts but not everything and what your left with is half a car and a load of parts you need to find room for, id fix it up and sell it or just sell it complete if you dont wanna fix it. 2.3 Cortinas are harder to find now.
