FBF Posted August 14, 2011 Report Posted August 14, 2011 im a great believer in saving them, people spend money saving cars way worse than this. looks like a cheap fix and stick it on ebay
banarama Posted August 14, 2011 Report Posted August 14, 2011 i think if thats all it needs,i would do work on it.then mot sell it on
biggeorge Posted August 15, 2011 Report Posted August 15, 2011 i think if thats all it needs,i would do work on it.then mot sell it on Seconded!
Savvi Posted August 15, 2011 Report Posted August 15, 2011 I thought the 2.3 ones were quite rare when they when they came out ? Although not much is selling at the moment seems a shame to break a car that dont need much work doing.
atomic punk Posted August 17, 2011 Report Posted August 17, 2011 I only wish I had the space, time and money to save this car.....
In The Pit Posted August 18, 2011 Report Posted August 18, 2011 If you only want a starter motor you should be able to get one easily enough, they are usually available brand new. Its a real shame to break it and you'll probably lose money as yeah you'll sell afew parts but not everything and what your left with is half a car and a load of parts you need to find room for, id fix it up and sell it or just sell it complete if you dont wanna fix it. 2.3 Cortinas are harder to find now.
