robns Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 hi all im a little unsure what to do with my cortina having sold my capri sport with twin 48 carbs , polished 4 spokes, 3.0 mechanicals im a little bemused as to what to do with my tin corner i bought a car so i could get both baby seats in the back & little ones could come to the shows with me & wanted as origanal car ias i could find. i found a near mint mk 5 but prob is its too origanal i feel to mess with. i now find myself with the question do i lower it a little as it rides like the titanic & should i whack on a set of revos or superlights or leave it std? who better to ask than you lot lol
mrprecovery Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 slam it rob. revos would also look very very very nice. complete with a 2.8 youd be sorted
deltamal Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 I've modded my mk3 quite a bit, but retained the sleeper look, it's lowered bt 1" which improves the look of it and stopped the "roller skate" image, and runs on 14" 5 spoke revos, I think it will be a long time if ever that the Corty mk 3,4,5's get the AVO, Lotus concurs status......
robns Posted September 13, 2011 Author Report Posted September 13, 2011 yeah i thought that myself i tihnk a nice set of revos or superlights i jsut ordered the ft spots too
Tall paul Posted September 16, 2011 Report Posted September 16, 2011 I do like a nice clean Tina lowered abit with some nice 15" wheels, at least if you keep all the old stuff you can put it back to standard if you wanted.
jamesg Posted September 16, 2011 Report Posted September 16, 2011 the sleeper look is always a winner

Tall paul Posted September 16, 2011 Report Posted September 16, 2011 Oh yes! Been trying to get my brother on them for he's mk3

robns Posted September 16, 2011 Author Report Posted September 16, 2011 im thinking of cozzie saff rims polished with black centres , 2.8 chin spoiler , lowered & ft spots what you think or shouldi go with mexico deep dish?
deltamal Posted September 16, 2011 Report Posted September 16, 2011 Mexico deep dish, would give it a custom yank look
lotusless Posted September 16, 2011 Report Posted September 16, 2011 i still say 3 door rims cant dig out a better pic atm but you get the idea with it on the deck... post-1323-043623800%201290289737_thumb
