Mexico Jon Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 Hi Everyone Can anyone tell me the pro's and con's for using them, i am looking to upgrade both front and back or any other makes that i should consider. Thanks in advance. Cheers Jon
Mk 1 Mark Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 Fully adjustable bump and rebound, and also height adjustable. fronts sold with what ever height and poundage strigs you want Excellect after care service, and good value for money. Also make stub axles now for the fronts as well as adj top mounts
sambo Posted October 24, 2011 Report Posted October 24, 2011 Just thought i'd mention that there is a lot to be said for bilstien suspension. I had Leda adjustables on mine but recently changed to Bilstien tarmac inserts and the difference is amazing. Good old bilstien.
turnover Posted October 24, 2011 Report Posted October 24, 2011 i prefered my ledas over bilsteins ,but both excellent ,and with any suspension you get what you pay for ,but as said Gaz are very good for the money
MK2Ed Posted October 27, 2011 Report Posted October 27, 2011 Bilsteins proper old skool I think Mark summed perfectly. No cons I can think of as got Gaz adjustables on mine. If it was me I'd let price be the decider...
RossMK2 Posted October 30, 2011 Report Posted October 30, 2011 i got gaz ajustable shocks on rear and i had no problems at all
petrolhead Posted October 30, 2011 Report Posted October 30, 2011 Bilsteins on mine and it handles well. Non-adjustable but then who needs to adjust perfection?
