lilrich1991 Posted November 17, 2011 Report Posted November 17, 2011 Hey Everyone, I'm looking for some insperation for my 1984 capri 2.0S. I intend to use it for hillclimbs, sprints, drag racing and the usual drifting . I was hoping that you fine people could give me some ideas for the look of it, im open to any ideas you have. I would also like some information on building up a big power race pinto maybe a 2.4 all information would be great. I've attached a couple of photos of the car as it is now so you can see what im working with! Many Thanks Rich P.S yes this was posted in the incorrect section previously im still new to this forum stuff sorry for the confusion

fatboycharlie Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 good luck with it mate... if it was me i would go for a YB cosworth T4 and set of grays, low comp engine thats my project to a t except a t3
lilrich1991 Posted November 20, 2011 Author Report Posted November 20, 2011 i was thinking about the YB route but im not sure it would be same with my driving style i see islands as play things plus the pinto i have is solid as so would make a good base engine then i could work my way up to the YB when i get used to the power of the pinto anyone got ideas on the bodywork my mates (chavs) say do it JDM style but i was thinking a mild version of a zakspeed rep?
fatboycharlie Posted November 20, 2011 Report Posted November 20, 2011 my faves mine will b like the silver one but white with with a yb striped out and a 8.8 axle witch i collect this week £££££
lilrich1991 Posted November 21, 2011 Author Report Posted November 21, 2011 that silver ones nice i think i might go stripped out and caged but im unsure about using either period bucket's or modern ive decided to buy the zakspeed bodykit from Capri Club and im going to modify it to make it more subtle but saying that a axe to the face is less subtle
