Hi all.

 

Can anyone show me what the profile of the boot seal should like or recommend me a good boot seal? Iam led to believe the one I have came from East Kent Trim supplies, but it makes the boot look as if it isnt shut properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same with mine mate, adjusted the boot so it sat flush, then the bloody thing wouldnt shut without slamming it

we needed a boot seal for a cortina rally car (had an ali boot skin so wasnt standard and obviously not escort) and happened to have a volvo 340 that was used as a field car. ripped that seal off and cut it to length and used it for the boot and worked a treat. if youve got any other cars kicking aorund try one of them. might work.just an idea.

Theres a couple of stalls at the Rufforth Autojumble (near York) who sells this stuff by the metre. Held First Saturday of every month. Worth a morning ride out. May be other autojubles nearer your location though?
