  1. Harriers were built out of the ford parts bins to use up all the mex and sport bits before they moved on to the mark 3. yes they are still desirable and I likem, but not a pure bred RS. Ford used a standard shell and bolted the goodies on to them. Hope the guy gets a good price for it, but 40K,... I'll have what he's smokin!

  6. Pretty sure this car was on ebay a while ago for serious money, someone obviously cut and pasted the info! should be reported to gumtree aka flea bay!!. scamming scumbags!
  7. yer right Dave, The parts were options and you had to specify what you wanted on your car.
  8. You are correct re the official ford pressings/logo. They were available from 1975(P reg), i.e the first mk2 RS's. I know this because I'm an old fart and have been into RS cars from a very early age! Also purchased an early car with original x-pack. Didn't actually take delivery of the car due to circumstances beyond my control!!! BOO HOO! Im over it now???
  9. Theres a couple of stalls at the Rufforth Autojumble (near York) who sells this stuff by the metre. Held First Saturday of every month. Worth a morning ride out. May be other autojubles nearer your location though?
  10. Anyone notice the yellow car in the background at the beginning of the advert? Looks like a mark 2 RS2000? (cant see the front) Also looks like it has a full length sunroof and white old style multispoke steel wheels? Anyone got any other ideas?
  11. I might just have what your looking for. I think I've got a spare pair of rears in the garage somewhere? Will see if i can dig them out at the weekend? Pete
  12. Realised today that ive had my Mex for 9 years, been on the road for 2 and not seen the light of day for 7 years! Currently stripped and jigged, but little progress! Big plan to get it sorted for the Summer! Here's hopin!
