type 9 shortening

Anyone on here shortened a type 9 gearbox shifter or know anyone that has. I need mine shortening and know it can be done but can't find the right person for the job.

Over on turbosport doug at G19 engineeing going to be doing this soon, he says he has the measurements and will we hopefully see how he gets on.

Yep, but you wont get much without major surgery. You cant lose the main bulge as that houses the lever reverse spring mechanism. The tapered part has an oil seal in there so watch the heat or remove it first.
