i had better get selling on ebay as i really want one of those,

 

I have a little system where i only buy bits for the escort out of my paypal (money i make selling on ebay)

Are they the ones which you bolt up to your block and to your alternator then adjust the length / tension by screwing up a nut either end meaning you dont have to lean on the alternator pulling it tight while tightening the bracket

(sorry i realise thats a really crap description :D )

 

... and yes they certainly do look the part

Got mine in red its going to look good on my engine, you bolt it up as you say then you turn the bar iin the middle to tension then lock up the nuts eithet end. , easy no more bar jammed down levering scracthing my red painted block or my nice alternator :D
