I,M PLEASED BUT NOT HAPPY !!

2 weeks before xmas one of the guys from a sports car club rang and asked if i would repair his blown head gasket on his kit car and could i get done by xmas , his panic on me getting it done quickly was that he had sold the engine and was replacing it with a Zetec on 45,s and all this was being done over the holiday period by himself and a few club mates .

So it was over to his house and head off , brought back to my workshop where i checked it over , skimmed it and prepared it for refitting, now i hope i dont get slated here because the head in question is a

K series Rover ........But it was being replaced with a Zetec which i must say his mates Zetec on 45,s sounds lovely

Anyway head all refitted and up and running by xmas week ,and as i left i wished him good luck with the engine swop and to take me out in the car when the Zetec is fitted

Now we are in march and i had,nt heard from him until tonight when he rang and said ' Sorry i have,nt been in touch but after you done the head and cambelt it,s the best it,s ever run so i decided to keep it and another guy bought the Zetec !!!!!!!!' .

So as the title say,s
