willsy Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 just you as far as i'm concerned. Bought loads from them over the years and never had a problem mate
fezza Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 Ive bought lots from them and always found them to provide a very good service
rusty82 Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 i have found with them a lack of communication between people that work there, but saying that it only happened the once and with all the orders they have to deal with once every now and then isnt that bad, but i got two different storys from different people why my part didnt turn up for weeks on end, when all they needed to say is "its out of stock....you will have to wait" but we got there in the end.
norm1 Posted June 3, 2012 Author Report Posted June 3, 2012 i have had a few bits from them in the past and apart from sending wrong engine mounts and a wrong quick shift they have been good ,maybe its just me exspecting to much to put a fuel union in a envelope and post it ? p/p £2 ,ive a motor trade insurance with trade plan in ilford and get my documents next day ,as said been told two different things ,if they said sorry forgot to send thats fair enuff ,have sent a e/mail with no reply ,was booked into a show monday 4th with the car payed entry but without that little bit ,cant go ,didnt think of getting one from some one eles as i was told i would have it by wensday ,thursday was told i would have it friday ,still aint got it ,
YOUNGY Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 I've had problems with the last 2 orders, waited over 1 week for 1 delivery and 2 weeks for the last one, got sent a faulty throttle cable and they weren't very helpful at all. A couple of years ago you used to order and it was here within a couple of days, not now though. I will now only use them if i have to and can't get the bits elsewhere.

James HPE Motorsport Posted June 4, 2012 Report Posted June 4, 2012 IMO Burtons have gone downhill a little bit! It really depends who you deal with. I called up a little while back for a throttle cable which I knew they did. Spoke to one bloke who said they definatle didnt do the one i wanted and he wasnt very helpful. Ended up hanging up. Called straight back and spoke to a different guy who knew exactly what I wanted, even knew the part number off the top of his head! Turned up the next day! Its pot luck nowadays! You would always get good service when Altay was there!!!
monkeymoreton Posted June 4, 2012 Report Posted June 4, 2012 Not had any problems with Burtons just who they use for delivery had damaged one of damper threads they have always been really good tho
