Ebay con merchant

Hello to everybody on here.

This is a warning to every body on this forum.

There is a Ebay seller under the name of ninja96chris who is selling parts on Ebay listing New & also selling parts as described Mint or Perfect,

I Foolishly was one of his Victims !!!

I enquired through Ebay messages to this seller,to ask about some rear lights that were on Ebay for a MK2 escort,he contacted me the same way & asked for my tel/no as he wasn`t near a computer.

The conversation was like this.

I will sell these lights to you outside Ebay for £75 + P&P

I said can you confirm that these lights are as described "MINT" as some peoples discriptions are different to others,he said mate these lights are like new "Perfect" !!

Ok I said,how do you want me to pay for these,he said PayPal is good mate.

I thought well there can`t be anything dodgy about this guy as he wants me to pay by PayPal.

He said can you Pay as a gift & I foolishly did,oh & he said £15 P+P for next day special delivery,

I did get these parts the next day but the amount was £6.75 on the PO stamp.

I unwrapped the box & was absolutely discusted & dissapointed with the quality of these lights,absolute Junk !!

I naturally e`mailed the guy & got a reply within the hour,I expressed my dissapointment & said I want a refund,he replied,your being too picky,these lights have come off of a 40 year old car,what do you expect,then I remembered he had rung me,so I called him & he was an absolute pratt saying you bought em,you do what you like,i`m not giving you your money back,is that clear enough for you,naturally I wanted to rip his head off but thought na I will get him back the same way as he has conned me !! so I reported him to Ebay,PayPal,I had some good news though,because I only had £27 in my PayPal account,the other £63 was drawn from my bank as a direct Debit,because of that I could draw the money back through my bank from Paypal & they would draw it back from the conning twat,although be it only £63 but I still have the lights & can use the backs at some stage !!!

I have put these crap lights back on Ebay not to con anyone myself at a price starting £200 but to warn others not to buy from this Joker ninja96chris !!

I have allready had two e`mails from people who have been conned by this Moron.

Anyway the Moral of this long story is don`t buy from this "TWAT"

I genuinely hate eBay now, just too many messers i too have been coned by buying stuff for my corsair and mk1 cortina described mint or in good order to be confronted with well.. shite!

 

much better to deal with people on forums such as here and else where too much space for hiding on eGay

Such a shame that a minority of people ruin it for other sellers who are genuinely trying to raise funds for their projects. Thanks for the "heads up" on this lowlife.

It is a shame that you didn't pay through paypal in the normal way because then you would have had all the power. I manage an ebay store through my work and so I know how little influence the seller has if a buyer complains to ebay.

There are a lot of idiots on there but I have always managed to get problems sorted when I've been buying stuff because ebay always sides with the buyer.
