Su Carb ID for Mk3 Zodiac engine

Hi all.

 

Ive been offered a set of triple SU Carbs. Ideal for a Mk3 Zodiac engine I'll be rebuilding in the future.

 

They measure 1 1/2 inch in diameter butterfly side and 1 2/8 inch where they bolt onto manifold.

 

Should I be worried that the part numbers he has given me for each carb dont match?

 

Does anyone know what they are off?

 

The markings:-

1=AUG 1344 or AUG 7344 on the body and AUD 9203 on the fuel bowl

2=AUG 2300 and AUD on the fuel bowl

3=AUG 1300 and AUD on the fuel bowl

 

Any advice would be reatly received

Hi

Go onto Burlen fuel systems website and type in those numbers and it should say what they are off. Burlen are the main agents/manufacturer for SU carbs.I have just done a similar set up on a Reliant Scimitar Coupe that uses the same engine the ID numbers on the carbs fitted to that were AUD161.
