alright guys,

 

as im new to this old school malarky, does anybody know the difference between genuine minilite wheels, the 1's from midland (JBW's) and the compomotives? apart from price? got any pics fitted to mk1 escort please. wondering why they are £20-30 more per corner???

Slight diffence is style and the Name tag like Genuine Minilites helps as all the other are god but copies , 7x13 mls dont hve as much dish on the rim as 7x13 minilites , superlights usually have polished edge with painted centres ,the JBW 7x13 are very much like the comp ml's

Depending on your brakes you may have clearance issues. I run hi spec 275mm and limited as to what wheels clear. I have 4 differt sets.

 

New rev 4 spoke in white which are a motorsport rim

genuine miniltes

rev minators (these have a slightly thicker out rim egde than the gen minilites

i had 2 sets of superlites but only 4 of them fitted.

 

Also a set of two gates which had to go
