Hi. There is a mk2 rs2000 broadstipe on eBay . Anyone know it?? I recognise the reg for some reason . I quite like it!!

As I have now had 2 plastic pipes split and set my car alight I need a braided one. Anyone know who sells them ?? It's the pipe from the pressure switch to the dash . I think a braided one will sort it out . Thanks.

I see my DILF logo has now made it into a magazine!!! I had those made up for the mk1 when I went to Le Mans last year. Everybody has Gulf logos so I kept the design and font and changed it. People found it v funny!! Good magazine chaps and I don't mind 80's fords. Time moved on and now 80's cars are 30 years old . Hopefully by featuring these cars the scene will stay fresh and vibrant,

Currently at the Landmark Hotel in London. She has got us tickets for Gary Barlow and guests at Westminster. ( live on bbc 1) The trouble is I am not a gary Barlow fan!!! Should be good though !! Happy new year !!

I was born in 1974. I remember the 80's but 90's was for me as well. 1980's My dad had 3 mk2 transits for his business . Older brother had a green mk1 escort. Brother in law had a red mk1 mexico . Had a commodore 16 which I got for Xmas !!! 1990's I had my first car which was a mk2 escort van!! Cut up the mk1 mexico!!!!! Loved going round the breakers yard next to my dads yard and rummaging for goodies. The Stone Roses!! And yes the 70's and 80's were fantastic . Got a pic of me as kid eating a ice cream in the back of my dads mk4 cortina !!! Endless sunny days.........

Highs Going to Colorado with my wife and kids and seeing my best pal . Snowmobiling up the Rocky Mountains. Finishing my mk2 escort and running it in the 12's. Having my mk2 featured in classic ford. Taking my mk1 to Le Mans for the 24hr race . Classic ford show . My mk1 winning best car at the Darren Rochford Memorial run. Summer runs out in the mk1. Doing a second gear burnout for the first time!!! Enjoying all things OSF and the people I get to meet. Lows. None. Had a fantastic time this year!!!! Roll on 2014 !!!!

Does anyone know where I can get a new dash fascia for my mk1 escort ( want to blank off holes that have been cut into the dash) I know you can get wooden finishers but I want a metal one . Also I want a new wiring loom.

Isn't the tinkering, modifying and breakdowns etc half the fun??? I love em. I like the time it eats up, I like the modifying and even breaking down !!! Winter is here . Time for cleaning and upgrades and servicing ready for spring. . Stick at it mike it is worth it . Enjoy all the car has to offer,

I know how much I did. I have done 3100 miles in my mk1 escort so far this year . All on my pukka HPE 2.1 pinto on 48 IDF's . It's been thrashed up the drag strip, run for 5 hours flat out on the way to Le Mans and then used whenever I can . It's been used rain and shine and still looks cool!!! I can honestly say it has impressed me and has been fun and comfortable. Over the winter it will be checked and serviced and a few mods then it will be ready again. Use them don't just look at them!!!
