I labelled nothing . It all went back ok .however mine was all modified!!!! Believe it or not you do remember. If in any doubt label it up and take lots if pics for reference. It's not that daunting!!!
I have a tran x for sale if you like . It's only done about 50 miles. Only reason I changed it is because I now have put Grp 4 shafts in. Pm me if interested .
At santa pod this weekend with the mk2 at dragstalgia. Going up with James and Jeff Harris and the Bakers. Really looking forward in seeing what the mk2 can do!!!!
I used to work in a car spares place on Saturdays when I was at college in the late eighties early nineties . We had boxes of those !!!! I remember piercing them with a pin. Had one in my mk2 escort van !!!!

The oil pipe from the block to the dash split when in a traffic jam about 160 miles from Calais on the way home. Sprayed oil over the hot exhaust manifold and the next thing I was on fire!!! Luckily caught it fast and put it out. No real damage done and got her home.

I love it scott. I would drive my mk1 anywhere. It's got 2.1 pinto with twin 48 IDF's with a 5 speed box and a 4.1 diff. It drives spot on with good fuel consumption on a run!!!! Ford intended these cars to be driven so I drive them !!!!
