mrcraigjackass Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 hi folks, i know its not really the car for this forum but most old fords have them, 1986 FORD Orion, Any tips on how to remove the outer door trim/mouldings? dont want to damage the doors or wing but can live with paint damage as she will be going for a re-spray soon, cheers guys any help would be appreciated
livewire7116 Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 do you mean the big thick plastic mouldings? if so why not use a piece of mig wire and two pairs of pliers, tuck the wire behind the trim and one end and then just pull the pliers thru the double sided tape, stops them getting distorted and minimal damage
