welshmike Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 Hi everyone, been lurking around here for a while and have learnt so much from everyone, thought it was time i introduced myself. My name is Michael, and i live in Formby, Merseyside. My first car, in 2008 was a Mk2 Escort Estate, inevitably i had a few crashes in it, and the rust got pretty bad, but it got me addicted to old rwd fords. Currently I am the very proud owner of a '73 Mk1 Capri. I bought it in 2009 and spent a year doing it up, then it was left in a garage for 2 years while i went off to Australia. While i was over there i had a Mk2 Escort 4 door and a Mk2 van, both with pintos. I have recently returned and im now just finishing off the fiddly last bits on the Capri then its ready for the road. I cant wait.
