chrome trim

how do you remove the chrome strips on a 63 cortina super, is it a screw driver job? can see me bendng it to hell????

I've taken mine off and just used a normal trim tool aslong as your careful you wont bent them

Unless your gutter rails need attention I would leave them in place as you will most likely bend, dent or scratch them trying to lever them off.

 

When mine was resprayed they were left in place.

I left mine on the car when i painted it, was gunna leave them on the RS too, but i've found some rot under there So im taking them off and leaving them off i think

 

Just make sure you paint under and over them, as i didnt and it looks all dull
