fitted 40s on anglia ?

ive just put a 1500 pre xflow in my anglia, currently with the cortina carb and exhaust manifold , but im looking to fit some twin dcoe webers that i have , but dont know what to do about the throttle set up , any ideas ?

who from ? what do you do the peddle end as is a rod ?

On mine I cut the rod where it comes through the bulkhead , on the pedal I welded some rod at 90 degrees angle on it . Then in the linkage kit you'll get a little block that will fit on to it and the cables fit into that

Or get the rod linkage from Neil at 1 0 5 speed for twin 40's

thanks lads , got no power where i work on the old girl so something bolt on would be the one . i believe with neils set up you must use his inlet manifold . looks a great bit of kit and cost about £260 , which is fine but ive spent this months budget on other bits . its my daily driver so need a quick fix . ta

If a Mk1 Cortina pedal is the same as an Anglia then I have one which you can have for a small fee.

 

I could even drop it down to the Ashton fellas.
