Just discovered this place after following a link from the Rods N Sods forum. Mainly into rods n sleds n kustoms for the last 18 odd years as my petrol head fix took me in another direction. Had blue oval fever ever since i passed my test in 87 in a mk2 fiesta. My first car was a 75 mk2 escort, since then had capris, fiestas, transits and the longest keeper was my A plate XR4i for about 8 years, which i rebuilt with Adjustable Koni's, close ratio box, recaro interior,etc. loved that car but people kept trying to nik it eventually i gave up and sold it for next to nothing... Since then still stuck in the ford world but I went older. Had a 1959 zodiac with 302cc 5.0l, a '65 mk 3 zodiac, '70 mk 4 zodiac I roof chopped. Bit the American tin bug in 2001 and been there since. Presently I have a 1940 ford coupe, 1958 chevy truck under rebuild and my reason for finding here is I have just aquired a 1963 Consul Capri. Its got 2.0l pinto running gear, atlas rear and generally based around ford parts. I will be doing some work to it as a rolling rebuild sorting out the weekender tasks... Looking forward to having a look round and learning new things. Have been out of zone for too long... cheers Stuart
