Russian Bear Posted October 15, 2012 Report Posted October 15, 2012 As you may or may not know Ive sold alot of things to pave the way for deposit on a house and loadsa other boring stuff that goes with it. I had dipped me toe into the darkside (Gasp!!) the motor i last sold was a Vauxhall PA Velox but Tina my girlfriend didnt like it either... So. Tina has big love for one Old Skool Ford. And with Tina's 30th Birthday round the corner what better present than something we can both enjoy (Tina's name will "Obviously" be on the Log book though ) Im picking this up in 2 weeks...We're back!!

As its gona be a birthday present for Tina's 30th in February i have enough time to first off give it a spruce up. Some welding... Bottom Rear of front wings are going, both rear of sills are going and front drivers side outrigger needs welding up. Apart from that its solid!! Other than this I have many ideas but its gona be time and money. I may just look to uprate the suspension and brakes with view to changing engine at a later point their is a few options as you probably well know, so many infact i dont which is best or what i want to do?? I didnt want to cut the engine bay about too much so may stick with pre-xflow or xflow... And I didnt want owt to mad just a good driveable street car... For the time being...Is their much that can be done with the high compression 997cc engine thats in it now?? or is it not worth it??
